Physical Therapists (PT)

PTs examine how motor impairment is impacting students’ abilities to learn. They provide therapeutic strategies to advance the student’s focus and progress. In many cases, students require only consultative services or evaluations from a PT. These results allow teachers to guarantee progress in overcoming environmental and educational obstacles.

Physical Therapists are fully licensed and experienced to:

  • Consult with physical education teachers and then strategize ways to improve a child’s motor skills
  • Facilitate easier access to and participation in the general school environment
  • Help adapt school activities to build confidence and ensure safety
